HVD Group and Next provide cloud-based software to tradespeople and construction firms in the Nordics, targeting a range of professions among many, electricians, plumbers, infrastructure & construction, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly experienced hands-on business leader who will play an integral role in developing and executing growth strategy cross the group’s marketing functions, to achieve new business strategic objectives, identify/qualify and close generation of opportunities, establish, build & maintain a pipeline of potential new customers and deliver significant revenues. As Group Marketing Director, you will play a key role in setting up winning marketing machinery to serve the sales team qualified leads. The ideal candidate will come with extensive experience in a similar position, having worked in a SaaS company and leading an international growth team to meet new business sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborative Marketing Plan Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams across all business units within the group, including sales, product development, and customer success, to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with overall business objectives and drives commercial success across the entire organization.
Cross-Functional Customer Journey Mapping: Collaborate with teams across multiple business units to map out the end-to-end customer journey, identifying touchpoints and opportunities to enhance the customer experience across all products and services offered by the group. Ensure that all business units are aligned in delivering a seamless and consistent experience at every stage of the customer lifecycle.
Team-Based Marketing Effectiveness Reviews: Lead regular meetings with the marketing teams from different business units, as well as representatives from other departments, to evaluate and review the effectiveness of marketing activities across the group. Collaboratively identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance and drive results across all business units.
Integrated Event Management: Work closely with relevant teams from different business units to manage industry events and trade shows effectively across the entire group. Coordinate pre-event planning, on-site logistics, and post-event follow-up to ensure maximum ROI for the group as a whole. Utilize data collected from events to inform future strategies and improve outcomes across all business units.
Agency Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders from different business units and external agencies to maximize the value delivered by marketing partnerships across the entire group. Establish clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and measure agency performance against agreed-upon KPIs for the group.
Cross-Functional Brand Awareness Initiatives: Partner with sales, product, and marketing teams from different business units to develop and implement strategies to improve brand awareness in relevant sectors and geographical trading areas across the entire group.
Skills & Requirements
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze marketing performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
History of success in tracking various metrics and marketing KPIs throughout the whole marketing funnel and evaluating and adjusting strategies accordingly
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and manage spend to maximize LTV/CAC ratios.
Experience developing customer personas and mapping customer journeys to inform marketing strategies.
Proven track record of insourcing SDR team
Experience in CRM strategy and tooling.
Demonstrated success in managing marketing efforts with sales, product, and customer success teams to drive customer acquisition and retention.
International experience is a strong merit.
University Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
