JOB PURPOSE: This role is responsible for designing, building, and operating enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions across DP World’s hybrid technology landscape—spanning IT, OT, IoT, cloud, and edge environments. This leadership role ensures that both corporate (IT) and industrial (OT) systems are engineered with resilience, security, and scalability, aligned to the organization’s Zero-Trust and AI-first cybersecurity strategy. The role will drive innovation, platform engineering, automation, and integration across the security stack to achieve consistent protection and visibility globally. In this complex DPW Hybrid Infrastructure landscape consisting of 130+ Data centers with multi-cloud with global applications with coverage of 70+ P&T’s across the globe. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for the building of the cyber engineering and architecture capabilities portfolio for the group CE&A function. You will be deep in each of these cybersecurity solutions, standardize architecture practices, configuration & deployment procedures, and make architectural decisions for this portfolio. The ideal candidate will have around 18+ years of deep Cybersecurity engineering (IT/OT), would have managed the cybersecurity engineering/architecture of a large enterprise. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Understand and be a champion of DP World’s business and product strategy Have a deep understanding, both low level and high level, across a swathe of technologies Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security platforms (EDR/XDR, CNAPP, CSPM, ASPM, CASB, DLP, DSPM, IAM/PAM, SIEM/SOAR, EASM, Qualys, Tenable, Axonious etc.). Define and enforce secure-by-design principles across IT, OT, cloud, and application environments Oversee engineering for Zero Trust, segmentation, and identity-centric security controls. Lead the security architecture review for critical IT, OT, and digital transformation programs. Drive security platform integration through APIs, SOAR, and data lake correlation. Lead automation initiatives for detection, response, and vulnerability remediation. Champion AI-driven detection and autonomous triage capabilities across the SOC and threat platforms. Oversee engineering for vulnerability management, cloud security posture (CSPM/CNAPP), and data security posture (DSPM/DLP). Ensure continuous visibility and control across multi-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-prem environments. OTHER Responsible for the indirect/direct management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound. Always act as an ambassador for DP World when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Founder’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies Perform other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering with 18+ years of relevant experience 18+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 7 years in leadership roles. Strong expertise in security architecture, engineering, and OT security. Proven experience managing global security platforms (EDR/XDR, CSPM, CNAPP, IAM/PAM, etc.). Hands-on understanding of ICS/SCADA systems, network segmentation, and secure remote access. Proficiency in Microsoft, Check Point, Wiz, SailPoint, Zscaler, Claroty/Nozomi, and Sentinel ecosystems. Deep knowledge of frameworks like NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK/ATLAS, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across IT, OT, and executive leadership. Proven track record of reducing manual operational workload via automation at scale.
