A Group Product Manager is a strong contributor to our product community, organising talks and contributing to excellent recruitment practices, and encouraging engagement in the community from their direct reports. At Booking Holdings, our mission is to make it easier for everyone to experience the world. We are looking for a visionary Product Lead to shape the future of our platforms. In this role, you won’t just manage a roadmap; you will lead a "Track"—a collective of teams—empowering them to solve complex problems while ensuring their work scales across our global ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Vision Strategic Translation: Transform high-level business goals into a cohesive Track strategy, providing clear guidance while fostering autonomy for individual teams to innovate. Advocacy & Alignment: Serve as the primary spokesperson for your Track, building broad alignment across department leadership and the wider organization. Roadmap Ownership: Define and own the long-term roadmap, proactively identifying risks, resolving cross-track dependencies, and optimizing delivery cycles. Data & Customer Centricity Analytical Leadership: Define success through rigorous KPIs, using complex data and experimentation (including $non-inferiority$ testing and advanced statistics) to drive product decisions. Insight Integration: Partner with Research and Design to distill global customer feedback into actionable hypotheses, ensuring our products solve real-world problems. Operational Excellence: Define and refine the processes necessary for teams within your Track to execute efficiently and maintain high standards of product health. Collaboration & Technical Advocacy Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with leaders up to the VP level, managing expectations through clear, inclusive communication tailored to diverse audiences. Technical Partnership: Collaborate closely with Engineering leaders to advocate for the customer during trade-off decisions, ensuring our technical strategy supports long-term business health. Community & Mentorship: Actively contribute to the Product Management community by interviewing, mentoring junior PMs, and leading "craft" projects that elevate our collective expertise. Qualifications We believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation. While the following experience is preferred, we value a proven track record of impact and a commitment to continuous learning. Experience: Substantial experience in Product Management (typically 8+ years), with a significant portion spent leading and developing other Product Managers (typically 4-5 years). Domain Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in platform-based and data-driven product development. You should be comfortable navigating complex, interrelated systems. Analytical Fluency: Strong understanding of experiment statistics (e.g., $p-value$, $sample size$, and $test power$). You are the "go-to" person for interpreting ambiguous data and proxy metrics. Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, crafting compelling narratives for complex technical solutions. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates a high level of analytical and strategic thinking. Inclusive Leadership: A proven ability to coach and mentor teams, fostering an environment where everyone feels empowered to contribute and grow.
