Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a seasoned Group Product Manager to helm our Resident Experience Platform product group. This is a mission-critical, platform-leadership role: you’ll empower our vision of effortless, end-to-end experiences for both property managers and residents, setting the strategy for all core resident-facing journeys and the new resident onboarding experience.

You’ll directly lead a team of five (Principal PM, Senior PM, Associate PM, PM, Product Specialist), across two foundational “pods”:

  • Experience Platform Pod: Responsible for secondnature.com’s unified platform, serving property managers and residents with a best-in-class portal and digital experience.

  • Resident Onboarding Pod: Driving innovation in the resident onboarding journey—from offer and lease creation, to move-in, utility setup, and ongoing engagement.
    You’ll report to the VP of Product and collaborate tightly with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Implementation, and Data teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead a Portfolio of Resident-Centric Platforms

  • Steward the vision and execution strategy for two key product pods:
  • Experience Platform (Pod 1): Deliver a cohesive platform for property managers and residents, enabling self-service, transparency, and meaningful engagement.
  • Resident Onboarding (Pod 2): Redefine the onboarding flow, building seamless journeys that ensure every resident starts with clarity, confidence, and connection.
  • Set and execute a unified product strategy that enables both exceptional digital experiences and operational scalability as Second Nature grows.

Set and Drive Vision

  • Define a compelling North Star for the Resident Experience Platform, helping your PMs turn company strategy into pragmatic, prioritized roadmaps.
  • Partner with executive, product, and design leaders to ensure the digital experience is not only state-of-the-art, but truly differentiates Second Nature and accelerates adoption.

Mentor & Develop Product Managers

  • Directly manage, coach, and inspire your team, fostering strong individual growth and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Champion product craft, develop team frameworks for discovery and iterative delivery, and turn product managers into multipliers for the business.

Deliver Exceptional Resident Outcomes

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Implementation, and Data to continually de-risk onboarding, minimize friction, and ensure every interaction is as easy and intuitive as possible.
  • Lead continuous improvement in all digital journeys—using data and direct feedback to iterate products that drive higher resident engagement, lower support load, and improved NPS for both residents and PMCs.

Champion the Triple Win

  • Ensure every upgrade and launch on the platform creates wins for residents, property managers, and owners. From onboarding, to self-service, to ongoing community features, your team’s work will power “wow” moments and measurable business value.

Measure and Optimize

  • Define, track, and evangelize key operational and customer metrics—resident onboarding drop-off rates, digital engagement KPIs, time-to-live/onboarding, NPS, etc.
  • Use insights to iterate strategy, drive scalable best practices across teams, and champion a culture of outcome-focused product leadership.
