  What you’ll do

Take end-to-end product leadership over our Virtual Power Plant and broader trade technology landscape. You will lead 5–7 cross-functional product teams, including the mission-critical platform team responsible for real-time operations. Your mission is to expand the VPP footprint internationally, strengthen platform resilience, and elevate our digital infrastructure to new levels of performance, security and scale. Lead several product developments focused on trading analytics, forecasting, trading & structuring and optimization tooling.

• Drive the international expansion of the VPP across new markets and asset types.
• Lead the product vision and execution for the VPP, ensuring it supports a growing volume and diversity of assets. Oversee the development of our new asset optimization platform and improve our core trading landscape.
• Build deep partnerships with our engineering, security and vendor teams to secure a robust, future-proof IT/OT setup.
• Ensure the platform meets the highest standards of mission criticality and security, including day-2 operations.
• Collaborate closely with system operators, aggregators and flexibility markets to maintain leading-edge capability.
• Contribute to Eneco’s battery storage strategy by enabling commercial steering and large-scale integration into Myriad.

Is this about you?

• You have senior experience in product leadership, preferably with mission-critical systems or platform development.
• You understand energy flexibility, distributed energy resources and the tech that underpins operational excellence.
• You take extreme ownership and don’t shy away from responsibility.
• You have experience leading multiple product teams, aligning strategy, and driving delivery across domains.
• You combine strategic thinking with hands-on ownership—you know how to get things done without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• You are comfortable navigating between engineering, commercial, security, and vendor discussions.
• You are driven by the opportunity to scale systems that matter—for the grid, the energy transition, and our customers.

• Managing a portfolio of teams responsible for everything from real-time optimization to system integration and telemetry.
• Working with external vendors and internal security stakeholders to uplift our IT/OT architecture.
• Ensuring our tech stack is scalable, reliable, and future-proof—ready to serve as a competitive advantage.
• Owning strategic initiatives and OKRs that link to Eneco’s energy trading ambitions and the broader One Planet strategy.
• Representing the product domain in leadership discussions, vendor boards, and regulatory conversations.

What we have to offer
Gross annual salary between €110.000 and €145.000
