    • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to work horizontally across our business to drive adoption and accountability of products.

    • Willingness to be very hands on with the product work, alongside management of your product team.
    • Significant experience in creating and operationalising new governance structures and processes.
    • Understands how to build and scale reusable systems (design systems experience is a plus).
    • Priorisation and decision making to pick the highest priority roadmap items across the entire product portfolio to avoid siloing and ensure the right initiatives are chosen.
    • Able to drive outcomes without significant supervision, whilst shaping the product strategy for the best path across multiple teams, aligning vision and execution at scale.

    At Xero, the Small Business Experience team builds and maintains core functionality and guidelines in order to power a consistent user experience for millions globally. We collaborate with product teams to ensure intuitive and beautiful software, championing efficiency and scalability.
    We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to drive the overall product strategy and execution for Xero’s front-end experience. This newly created role is a grass roots management position with future scope to grow the team.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO



      • Drive product strategy and a cohesive narrative for your product area.

      • Lead your team to develop and execute the product roadmap.
      • Coach team members and elevate product management capability in your team and the wider division.
      • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other product teams to execute the overall product strategy for your area.
      • Deeply understand your external and internal customers, and drive shared understanding of target segments across your team and stakeholders.
      • Be an effective spokesperson for the product, communicating effectively with executives and other stakeholders.
      • Stay abreast of the latest trends in the industry.
      • Develop and implement processes and governance to drive internal adoption of your products.
