Job Description We are seeking a full-time Group Reservations and Sales Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will play an integral role in driving the hotel's financial success by maximising room and rate yield. Your main duties will involve the complete lifecycle of group business, including timely quoting, accurate contracting, and efficient management of rooming lists, invoicing, and commission payments. You will maintain meticulous attention to detail while processing all group reservations, conducting site inspections, and ensuring efficient communication of group requirements to all internal departments. What will you be doing: Process and input group reservations following hotel policy. Quote, prepare contract, and manage rooming lists for groups in adherence to standard procedures. Handle the invoicing and payment processing for group business pre and post stay. Respond to all group enquiries, including but not limited to Cvent and Meeting Planner, and ensure the client is updated accordingly. Ensure efficient and timely communication of group requirements and movement to necessary internal departments. Conduct site inspections with the assistance of a supervisor or sales representative. Action all group reservations accurately within the same working day. Attend group meetings and provide status updates on group business. Assist with any other duties assigned by the Department Manager/Supervisor. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following experience: Proven sales experience in a hotel environment is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled as a negotiator, solution-focused for clients, and possessing an excellent ability to multitask and prioritise. Collaborative mindset, confidently engaging with teams from across the business. Essential knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, with experience in OPERA being highly preferable.
