Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Group Sales Manager to lead our team of Group Travel Consultants. You’ll play a key role in driving sales, supporting a portfolio of group accounts, and coaching your team to deliver exceptional service to our valued group organisers. In this role, you’ll lead with energy and positivity, ensuring your team consistently meets targets while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

THE ROLE’S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Develop and grow our group bookings business across multiple channels.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the Group Sales team to achieve sales, conversion, and repeat business targets.
  • Oversee a portfolio of key group accounts, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Support Group Travel Consultants with daily sales decisions, workload prioritisation, and commercial judgement.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to align bookings with HF Holidays’ schedules and commercial strategy.
  • Monitor enquiry levels, conversion rates, and repeat business to identify trends and opportunities for growth as well as seek new leads to ensure growth in groups business
  • Maintain and exceed agreed service standards
  • Provide valuable insight to support marketing campaigns, brochure production, and sales strategies, ensuring decisions are informed by operational and account knowledge.
  • Lead regular 1:1s, team meetings, and annual appraisals, offering constructive feedback and guidance to support individual development.
  • Take responsibility for recruitment, onboarding, training, and probation reviews for new team members.
  • Work closely with Call Centre Sale Manager to ensure relevant cover during busy periods.
