The Group Sales Manager (non-Asia) conducts proactive sales activities and promotions to identify and create business opportunities for groups with a minimum of ten rooms per night. These activities include, but are not limited to, research, development and solicitation of new accounts, management of existing accounts, participation in Trade Shows and sales calls. The position can be based remotely with the ability to travel easily to Hawaii and Oahu Islands for business needs. This person must be active in the MICE market in the U.S. mainland. Minimum Requirements Minimum of Two years hotel sales experience required. Must be a results-oriented, highly motivated individual, with a positive attitude that thrives in a team-based environment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills essential. Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills required. Computer literacy including Delphi FDC. Ability to travel and work nontraditional hours and days of the week. Come Work Here! While base pay starts at 78,000, there is potential for a higher salary based on factors such as applicant skill, experience, education.
