Overview The Group Sales Manager (GSM) plays a vital leadership role at the forefront of driving revenue growth and developing high-performing sales talent. This player/coach position oversees the performance, productivity, and professional development of Account Executive Trainees (AETs). As GSM, you will lead the team’s day-to-day sales activities, build a small “book of business” yourself, and execute strategies that ensure consistent revenue generation and strong client partnerships. --- Key Responsibilities · Lead, manage, and develop a team of AETs to achieve a best-in-class sales force · Drive daily sales activity, lead performance reviews, and monitor individual productivity · Develop and manage your own small book of business as a player/coach · Coach and mentor AETs to accelerate ramp-up time and increase revenue impact · Distribute and manage inbound and outbound sales leads for maximum effectiveness · Maintain high service levels and ensure an exceptional client experience · Facilitate onboarding of new customers and support smooth implementation · Proactively resolve service issues and support ongoing sales operations · Support and grow key accounts through strategic planning and engagement · Train team on the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to client retention · Perform additional duties as assigned or needed based on business priorities --- Qualifications · 2+ years of leadership experience in a sales environment, preferably in logistics or transportation · Strong track record of individual sales success and ability to lead by example · Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment · Strong organizational and multitasking abilities · Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite · Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field preferred --- Ready to lead from the front and help shape the next generation of sales talent?
