As the Group Sourcing Manager, you drive Optinova’s global sourcing strategy and function to deliver high supply predictability, top quality and lower costs of key materials and services. You work with suppliers’ management and in regular interaction with factory managers, buyers, Group Operations and our Global Business Line Managers.
The workplace is located at the Nordic sales office in Uppsala, Sweden or the headquarter office in Mariehamn, Åland.

This role is essential to Optinova as it has direct contribution to profitable growth, product cost and material availability. Your key responsibility areas will be:

• Identifying strategically important materials and services
• Support Product Innovation and Development
• Supplier management and relationship with senior management
• Price and purchase agreement negotiation
• Business analytics and consolidated material forecasting
• Securing supply availability

You
We believe that you have experience in working with suppliers’ senior management, account managers, own buyers, and factory managers. You have experience in global sourcing in a Business-To-Business environment and are strong in negotiating prices and contract term, and in supplier agreement creation.
You have strategic thinking and the ability to analyze purchase expenditure and to forecasting and impact analysis. You are a good communicator, and you build trust, collaboration, contacts and network with supplier management and within Optinova.
This job requires good English skills, both in speech and writing, since most of the communication is in English. Swedish skills are not a requirement but could be to your advantage. We believe you have a BSc or MSc in Economics or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
