You have a commercial approach and you work hard to achieve targets. With your power of persuasion, you will ensure that leads and prospects will be converted to new group reservations and reservations for the meetings & events department of Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Besides an enthusiastic personality you are / you have;

  • Experience in a commercial role, preferably in a hotel and/or as sales coordinator
  • A real team player with a ‘Hands on’ mentality
  • A hospitable attitude and great up sell skills
  • Strong communicative skills in English
  • Assertive, pro-active and a sense of urgency in driving to reach goal
  • In the possession of a valid residence and working permit for the Netherlands

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Dutch speaking and writing
  • Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
Responsibilities

We will explain it shortly, but we are more than willing to tell you more about it in a conversation.
Together with your colleagues, you will handle all requests for group reservations (10+ rooms) and reservations for meetings, conferences and events for our meetings & events department. You maintain contacts with existing guests and clients and take care of new bookings. Besides that, you respond to new leads and you are capable of converting propects to new reservations for our hotel. Thereafter, you plan the event precisely based on the needs and desires of the guest and in coordination with all concerned departments in the hotel. Because of your experience, you are able to handle bigger clients and requests. Lastly, you are a great up seller and you are capable of achieving the highest possible revenue for the hotel.
