Description
Train and develop the crew in the operation, maintenance and repair of Grouting equipment. Report detailed job activities to Superintendent on daily basis Ensure a complete and up-to-date inventory of available spare items/equipment is always maintained Check that all the items and accessories required for the Grouting equipment are available on-board the barge and ensure that the Grouting Equipment and correctly set up, hoses are connected and ready to use Keep a well-documented log of all activities which are mobilized with Grouting Equipment Supervise the dismantling and demobilization of the Grouting Equipment and its maintenance during the idle period Maintain a log of equipment condition before-and after piling activities to record and indicate specific equipment that requires maintenance works Liaise regularly with the Chief Mechanic to ensure the timely inspection and maintenance of equipment Take necessary actions to establish a safe working environment In the event of an emergency where potential risk is involved, carry out the Grouting operation in an appropriate manner ensuring the safety of the crew Compliance in accordance with Company codes and HSE standards
Responsibilities
The Grouting Superintendent is responsible for training and developing the crew in the operation and maintenance of grouting equipment. They must ensure equipment readiness, maintain logs of activities, and supervise equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
