REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a busy growing environment.
• Confident in delegating tasks and handling tight deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Food hygiene and HACCP qualifications.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous grower experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with BRC standards and retailer audit protocols.
• Degree in agriculture or horticulture.

• Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure all growing houses are filled, transferred, and emptied according to KPIs.
• Train new team members on disease control and pest management.
• Participate in daily farm walks and weekly planning meetings with the Growing Consultant.
• Oversee crop husbandry, pest scouting, and climate control strategies.
• Enforce health and safety standards and ensure compliance with food safety and GMP guidelines.
• Support harvesting supervisors during peak times and report KPI figures at monthly meetings.
• Drive personal development through training.
