JOB SUMMARY

The Outdoor Growing Supervisor is tasked with directing a team or teams responsible for the care and finishing of annuals and perennials in our outside growing spaces. This position requires knowledge of plant material and chemicals in addition to the ability to train and direct teams of growers. The perfect candidate will be confident with minimal supervision but will not hesitate to ask for support when needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
· 2 years of growing experience, non-cannabis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Knowledge of standard growing practices.
· Thorough understanding of the production and spacing process.
· Understanding of plant culture and pest control protocols.
· Knowledge of irrigation and spray equipment.
· Can work independently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Apply pesticides as needed and directed.
· Diagnose and perform basic repairs on irrigation and pesticide spray equipment.
· Train new team members.
· Direct a team or teams engaged in outdoor growing tasks.
· Scout for pests and instruct team members on the process.
· Communicate with growing team and supervisor/manager.

OTHER DUTIES

· Execute the duties of the position in alignment with the Company Mission and Conduct Policies.
· Use technology as required by the position.
· Complete required annual trainings as assigned.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

· Direct teams daily during the growing season.
· Perform administrative functions such as timecard approval.
· Provide Growing Manager with performance feedback on team members.
