You will be instrumental in ensuring our continued growth while upholding our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred support.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in a business development, relationship management, or similar role, ideally within the NDIS or disability services sector in Western Australia.
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS framework, funding models, and quality standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic growth plans and achieve targets.
  • Excellent networking and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A genuine commitment to the principles of person-centred care and empowering individuals with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant CRM and reporting tools.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, health, community services, or a related field (desirable).
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Perth metropolitan area as required.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Growth:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase the number of NDIS participants accessing our services in line with our organisational goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including exploring new service offerings and potential partnerships.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and identify unmet needs within the NDIS landscape in the Perth region.
  • Network and build strong relationships with key referral sources, including Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), healthcare professionals, and community organisations across the metropolitan area.
  • Participant Engagement:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with current NDIS participants and their families, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance participant satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Ensure all interactions and service delivery align with the NDIS Code of Conduct and a person-centred approach.
  • Gather feedback from participants and families to inform service improvements and enhance their experience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Support Coordinators, other NDIS service providers, and relevant community stakeholders across the metropolitan area.
  • Represent Spearhead Supports at industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless support for participants.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators related to participant growth and engagement.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and business development efforts.
