The Opportunity As our Growth Manager, you will identify, prioritize, and execute on high impact growth opportunities across the funnel - from top-of-funnel trial through new member activation. This role is for an ambitious growth operator who will identify and test into needle-moving opportunities to grow Honey Homes from 3,000 to 10,000 members over the next year. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable launching new acquisition tests, tightening lifecycle programs, standing up new workflows, and partnering cross-functionally. This role is based in Oakland, CA and reports to our Co-Founder / Growth Lead. To deliver exceptional results, you’ll be in-office regularly and embedded with cross-functional teams. Outcomes 1. Launch and scale new growth initiatives You’ll act as an owner to launch and execute on new ideas and cross-functional bets, with the goal of generating 100 onboarding visits every month. Examples: Define and test offline channels that expand TAM and deepen penetration of our existing audience in the Bay Area Create network effects by scaling hyperlocal or community-driven tactics across markets 2. Build email as a growth channel You’ll turn lifecycle comms into a core growth lever, by designing new programs to generate 25-50 new onboarding visits monthly. This includes 1)generating net new MQLs, 2)creating more onboarding visits from those MQLs and 3)keeping those onboarding visits on the books. Programs you own include: Outbound sales testing MQL nurture and conversion programs Visit reschedule and recovery flows Ambassador and referral communications Churn win-back flows 3. Strengthen Growth Tooling & Operational Efficiency You make growth easier to run and scale, by building repeatable systems. Save yourself time that you can redeploy to higher impact activities. Implement new automations and AI workflows that improve your efficiency by 50% Build and improve lifecycle automations across email, SMS and call platforms Document and playbook your workflows, lead the team in adopting new practices Core Competencies Growth Mindset: You’ve taken initiatives from 0 → 1 before. You learn quickly, adapt constantly, and improve every month. Operator Mentality: You’re comfortable getting into tools, dashboards, workflows, and data yourself. AI-First Builder: You actively use AI daily to increase leverage and efficiency. You’re instinct is to ask “How can this be systemized?” Analytical Rigor: You love metrics and understand what they mean. You can self-serve to uncover actionable insights. Clear Communication: You write clean, compelling copy and explain complex ideas simply. You collaborate effectively across Marketing, Product, Operations, and CX. Qualifications We’re seeking a motivated operator with 2–5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or growth, eager to have outsized impact and grow with us. Ideal backgrounds include: Experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or product marketing Exposure to sales processes, funnel optimization, or conversion strategy Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations Strong ability to analyze data and self-serve insights Demonstrated use of AI tools in a professional setting You thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy ambiguity, and care deeply about building systems that scale.
