Description
Growth Operations (Growth Ops) Associate Job Type: Hybrid - 1-3 days per week in the office About Phamily Phamily is a healthcare technology company focused on making proactive care management simple, scalable, and financially sustainable. Our SaaS platform equips health systems and physician groups with AI-powered virtual care tools to better manage chronic conditions and general patient needs between office visits. By shifting healthcare from reactive, episodic treatment to proactive care management, we’ve already supported tens of thousands of patients, and we’re just getting started. Join us as we continue to revolutionize how care is delivered. The role We’re looking for a smart, strategic operator who loves research, systems, and relationship-building to fuel Phamily’s go-to-market. This is an operations-heavy, quality-over-quantity role: you’ll map markets, curate the right accounts and people, craft thoughtful introductions, and partner closely with AEs to advance high-conviction opportunities. If you’ve been a successful sales professional or a consultant/IB analyst (or similar), ready to build at a high-growth startup—and you want hands-on exposure to sales, distribution, and company-building—this is for you. Things change quickly here. You’ll shift gears, write and run playbooks, and own outcomes end-to-end with rigor, patience, and excellent judgment. What you’ll do Market intelligence & targeting: Build and maintain geo/account/persona maps; analyze trends, incentives, and competitive signals to point us to the right places—and the right people. Account research & narrative: Produce concise briefs and hypotheses; translate messy signals into crisp, respectful outreach (email/LinkedIn) that builds relationships before asking for meetings. Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Plan and run ABM plays with Marketing and AEs: tailored content, micro-landing pages, direct mail or light gifting where appropriate, executive POV memos, and event-based touch plans. Define target lists, trigger signals, and measurement (reach, engagement, meeting→stage progression, multi-threaded coverage) Pipeline program management: Run thoughtful PM across leads and workstreams: lists, touch plans, notes, next steps, and cross-functional coordination with AEs, RevOps, and Marketing. Partnership with AEs: Multithread stakeholders, prep agendas, and push deals forward; be the trusted right hand who helps AEs prioritize and execute. Operational problem-solving: Spin up tools, dashboards, and reporting to surface insights; propose experiments and system improvements. Event support: Coordinate presence at conferences, virtual sessions, and field events; manage prep, target lists, follow-ups, and post-event debriefs. Brand stewardship: Represent Phamily with care and credibility; cultivate trust with valued clients and prospects through patient, informed communication. What this role is not Not a “spray & pray” BDR role (no mass blasts or 100 dials/day). Not script-reading. You’ll develop subject-matter fluency and use judgment. You’ll thrive here if you… Thoughtfully patient: Relationship-first; you don’t force meetings—you earn them. Super organized: Can manage multiple lists, workstreams, and stakeholders cleanly. A great writer: Concise, on-tone, and specific; your messages get read. Detail-obsessed: Intense attention to detail across research, notes, and follow-ups. Strategic: You can argue why these accounts, why these people, why now. Collaborative & assertive: Close partnership with AEs; you help/push them when needed. Rigorous: You think in systems, measure what matters, and uphold a high bar. To Be Qualified For This Role, You Will Have Bachelor’s degree (business/finance/engineering or similar) or equivalent experience. 3+ years in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, startup ops, business development, or similar research/analytical roles. Analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting data and making clear, defensible recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; executive presence with customers and internal teams. Evidence of strong writing (samples welcome). Familiar with CRM, sequencing tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator; light data wrangling a plus. Prior sales training or exposure to GTM motions is a plus—and you’re eager to take a larger role at a smaller company. Work Style & Logistics Hybrid - NYC in-person at least 3 days per week. Occasional travel for the team to on-site or industry events as needed. Our Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Potential to earn equity based on performance Remote-friendly work environment Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents at a nominal cost Paid maternity leave FSA and Dependent Care account options 401(k) Eligibility after 6 months of full-time employment Collaborative, mission-driven work environment If you take pride in delivering results, embrace challenges, and proactively seek improvement, then this is the place for you. You’ll join a smart, humble, and collaborative team dedicated to improving healthcare. Equal Employment Opportunity Phamily is an equal opportunity employer.
