THE ROLE

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving Monzo’s next phase of growth. With 1 in 6 new UK businesses applying for a Monzo Business account, we’re now setting our sights on the switcher market. Your mission: identify and scale strategic partnerships that unlock growth in this segment and build sustainable acquisition channels.
You’ll play a key role by…

Leading the end-to-end strategy and execution of partnerships to accelerate growth and deliver value. You’ll optimise existing relationships and scale new opportunities by:

  • Expanding and Optimising Partnerships: Lead and scale active pilots (e.g., accountant affiliates, distribution partners), continuously analysing performance, identifying improvements, and driving implementation and governance.
  • Sourcing and Building Strategic Opportunities: Identify, pitch, and cultivate relationships with scalable, high-impact partners aligned with strategic objectives, informed by market trends and competitive insights.
  • Driving Commercial and Strategic Decisions: Develop data-informed business cases and recommendations to prioritise partnership opportunities with strong commercial potential.
  • Accelerating Customer Acquisition: Design and implement targeted, high-conversion strategies focused on acquiring high-value switchers, optimising for long-term impact.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Partner closely with teams across Product Growth, Risk, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Engineering, and Compliance to ensure cohesive integration, improve acquisition performance, and gather insights to inform strategy.

We’d love to hear from you if you…

  • Bring Proven Experience: Have a strong track record in growth or partnerships, ideally within banking, fintech, or tech, with experience building and optimising B2B strategies that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Are Data-Informed and Commercially Focused: Confidently use data to evaluate opportunities, guide strategy, solve problems, and inform impactful decisions.
  • Think Strategically and Creatively: Apply first-principles thinking to challenge assumptions and develop innovative, practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Adapt Across Functions: Comfortable navigating technical, regulatory, and operational contexts to deliver customer-centric solutions that work at scale.
  • Collaborate and Take Initiative: A thoughtful communicator and proactive self-starter who contributes with humility, works well with others, and is genuinely motivated by our mission.
