FSM Group, LLC, an aviation fuel management company with multiple locations in the US, has an immediate need for a GSE (Ground Service Equipment) Maintenance Shop Manager position catering trucks at Detroit Metro (DTW) airport operation. The GSE Maintenance Shop Manager will deliver oversight to all operational needs including but not limited to, Safety, Performance, Financial, and meeting Service Level Agreements. This candidate must maintain and develop key relationships with Airport and Customers as well as employees to reach optimal results in business growth opportunities. Essential Responsibilities: Operational, personnel and administrative manager for station ground support equipment and maintenance To ensure implementation of fleet management strategy at his/her assigned station Ensure effective planning methods for manpower and equipment Baseline all existing processes related to equipment budgets, acquisition, repairs, maintenance, and disposal; and develop the best-in-class lean processes that will eliminate waste and maximize efficiencies Compliance with legal/safety requirements ensures the compliance with all legal/safety regulations both in terms of local country legislation as well as FSM Group standards Partner with operational teams and services business to develop tailored strategies to support the profitability metrics and fit with their business model Ensure to maintain all Ground Service Equipment at the FSM Group station Ensure adequate resources are available to execute operations safely Ensure all safety devices, machinery, vehicles, and equipment within their area of responsibility are operated correctly and only by suitably trained and qualified competent persons Ensure safety rules are observed by all employees, contractors, and visitors Economic performance: yearly budget targets (budget vs. actual total costs and budget vs. actual workload) Other duties as assigned Benefits: Strong culture of promoting from within Pay on Demand Program- Your paycheck before payday A full set of company-provided uniforms Medical insurance for as low as $95.00 per month Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) matching program with immediate vesting Up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off per year …and much more! Learn more at fsmgroup.us Requirements Minimum Requirements: At least 18 years of age Must obtain a valid Driver's License Wiliness to work overtime Pass a federal fingerprint background check and pre-employment drug screening Document prior work history Have proof of US work eligibility Mechanics are required to bring their own set of basic tools (wrenches, ratchets, socket sets, screwdrivers, power tools, Allen wrenches, and voltmeter). Specialty tools will be provided by the Company.
