We are looking for a GSOC Engineer to join our high-performing Security Operations team, helping protect clients through cutting-edge Cloudflare technologies. As part of our GSOC team, you will be on the front line of cyber defence by monitoring, detecting and responding to threats in real-time. This role gives you the opportunity to specialise in our cyber security vendor's market-leading platform while working closely with our vendor partner to deliver secure, scalable outcomes for customers. What you will be doing Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents across our vendor partner platforms Investigate threats, perform analysis and support incident response and remediation activities Configure and optimise vendor partner's security services and policies Conduct traffic analysis, log correlation and threat hunting activities Collaborate with internal teams and work closely with our vendor partner to resolve issues and enhance security outcomes Support vulnerability assessments, post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to operational best practices What you bring 3+ years’ experience in a SOC/GSOC or security operations environment Exposure to or strong interest in modern edge security platforms Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and cyber security principles Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and external partners What’s in it for you Work with a leading cyber security team and a strategic vendor partnership Opportunity to develop deep expertise in modern edge security solutions Exposure to a wide range of client environments from SMB through to enterprise Ongoing training, certification and career development opportunities If you’re looking to build your career in cyber security and work with innovative technologies, we would love to hear from you.
