Provides event and enforcement support, customer service, and equipment monitoring to ensure a safe and efficient campus environment. Job Responsibilities Supports the setup and breakdown of traffic and parking control devices (e.g., cones, barricades, signage, temporary fencing) for daily campus operations and scheduled events. Assists in placing signage and directional markers to guide campus visitors and ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. Operates a handheld device to monitor and record parking activity, issue citations, and document field conditions (40%) Assists with directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic before, during, and after events to ensure campus safety. Provides support during any enforcement activities such as vehicle towing and immobilization ("booting") and communicates effectively with dispatch and supervisory staff. Helps monitor access control points, securing restricted areas, or redirecting traffic based on operational needs. (30%) Provides customer service to visitors, students, and staff during events and daily operations, answering questions related to parking, navigation, and enforcement. Conducts vehicle checks for assigned departmental equipment and documents any needed maintenance or repairs. (25%) Other duties as assigned. (5%) Additional Requirements Vehicle Operation: This position requires a valid driver's license, will require an MVR, and is subject to drug screens per PM-33/PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
