SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Guest Engagement & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the hotel’s guest experience and marketing efforts to maximize revenue and promote the hotel’s brand. This position includes a variety of guest services, administrative, creative, and sales duties designed to drive guest engagement, increase bookings, and elevate the hotel’s visibility in the market.
The Guest Engagement & Marketing Coordinator reports to the Guest Engagement Manager & Marketing Lead and support the Marketing Agency to maximize revenue and promote the hotel’s brand. The position has a flexible schedule and is 42 hours a week.

GUEST EXPERIENCE SUPPORT:

  • Assist in responding to guest inquiries, both via email and phone, with professionalism and timely follow-ups.
  • Help maintain positive relationships with existing clients and partners to encourage repeat business.
  • Support the Guest Services team in answering calls, making reservations and any other duties during busy period.

JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience and proficient in paid marketing, email marketing, website management and social media management beneficial.
  • Previous guest services and/or hotel experience an asset
  • Excellent guest services skills an asset
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills and excellent attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize your own workload.
  • Is very organized and is detail oriented.
  • Has good communications skills.
  • Able to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Proficient with a variety of computer programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and marketing platforms
