Open 24/7, Gold Spike offers ’round-the-clock options for drinking and fun Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Door Cashier is to welcome Gold Spike guests, collect appropriate cover charges and accurate/efficient cash handling. All duties are performed in accordance with all policies, practices and procedures.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Welcome guests to property and provide a high level of service * Responsible for verifying guests are 21 or older * Collect appropriate cover charges from guests and input in POS system * Accurate and efficient cash handling and reporting * Accurately access incoming patrons concerning dress code and any perceived hazardous situations * Communicate perceived hazardous situations via radio to security and property management * Answer basic property and DTLV questions and provide information * Perform other job related duties as assigned Qualifications: * Must be at least 21 years old * Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills * Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills * Exceptional cash handling skills and working knowledge of POS systems * Able to effectively communicate in English in both the verbal and written form * Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends  Education/Experience: * One (1) year of previous cash handling and customer service experience in the hospitality or retail environment * High school diploma or equivalent is required * Ability to obtain work card, health card and alcohol awareness card * $15 an hour 
Responsibilities
The primary duty is to welcome guests to Gold Spike, verify they are 21 or older, and accurately collect cover charges using the POS system. This role also involves monitoring for hazardous situations and providing basic information about the property and Downtown Las Vegas.
