As a Guest Experience Assistant, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes our visitors, setting the stage for an unforgettable visit. You'll be part of a team that’s all about delivering top-notch service with a smile, while also helping to support our important conservation work. What You'll Be Doing: Making every guest feel welcome! You'll be selling tickets, memberships, and guides, ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process. Sharing your enthusiasm for our belugas! You'll chat with visitors, answer their questions and help them get the most out of their visit. Being a team player! You'll work alongside your colleagues to keep things running smoothly and ensure everyone has a great time. Keeping things safe and sound! You'll follow our procedures to make sure our guests and team members are safe. Helping us raise vital funds! You'll promote our memberships, gift shop goodies and other ways for guests to support our work. Handling transactions accurately and responsibly (cash, cards, etc.). Looking after our equipment and keeping our areas tidy. This role is full-time and includes working a regular, fair share of weekends and bank holidays as required. Qualifications & Experience A people person who loves interacting with the public and providing excellent customer service. You'll be friendly, approachable, and able to engage with people of all ages. A team player who’ll be happy to support colleagues and work together to achieve our goals. Someone who's reliable and punctual. Someone who can handle money accurately and responsibly. An interest in marine conservation is a bonus!
