Come join our team as an Overnight GuestFamily Experience Associate at Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay. The right candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a compassionate, family-centered approach aligned with the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Schedule: Friday, 5:00 pm - 5:00 pm Sunday, Sleeping overnight
Pay: $14-15/hr
This position will rotate weekends with another team member, resulting in every other weekend off. Schedules are typically set one year in advance, with flexibility to switch weekends with other staff as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• High School Diploma Required. Two years basic management experience preferred.
• Must meet healthcare requirements of partner hospital, complete biannual CPR training and annual fire alarm training.
• Demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity toward the intersections of ability, class, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religion/spirituality, and sexual orientation.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Spanish proficiency/Bilingual ability strongly preferred.

You’ll need to handle sensitive situations with the utmost confidentiality, maintaining decorum at all times. The probationary period is 90 days. A review will be conducted by the direct supervisor at 90 days and 1 year; yearly review thereafter with salary consideration by RMHCTB.

• Provide exceptional guest service and support
• Assist with guest needs and requests in a compassionate, family-centered manner
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies while supporting families
• Perform housekeeping duties, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, keeping shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for families
• May assist with turning over guest rooms as needed
• Ensure proper guest registration and check-out procedures
• Learn and use database systems to track guest information and generate reports
