More info about the company can be found at www.gclj.com. The Role: The room attendant maintains guest rooms providing our guest with the service they expect. The attendants work closely with the front desk team to ensure the rooms are available to our guest on their expected arrival time. Scrubs bathroom floors, walls, mirrors, and fixtures. Vacuum’s all carpeted areas. Dusts all furniture and lighting fixtures. Replenishes supplies such as coffee filters, paper towels, writing supplies, linen and bathroom supplies. Replaces light bulbs. Cleans patio railings, furniture and decks. Sweeps, scrubs, mops, waxes, and polishes floors. Spot cleans all carpeted areas, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays. Maintains the cleanliness and organization of carts, storage areas and equipment. Adjusts status by phone when room is ready for guest occupancy. Reports any maintenance problems to the supervisor. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsibilities
The room attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and ensuring they meet the service expectations of guests. They work closely with the front desk team to prepare rooms for guest occupancy.
