Position: Guest Service Agent - Front Desk (Part-Time)
The Role at a Glance: Do you have a passion for creating memorable guest experiences? Join us as a Guest Service Agent at our newest boutique property, The Postmark Hotel, Newmarket! This position plays a key role within our hotels. The Guest Service Agent is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations on a day-to-day basis. Greeting and assisting guests and processing check-in/out transactions. Must be able to work independently and have strong problem resolution skills. This position reports into the Front Desk Manager.

Your Day To Day Duties:

  • Welcome and register guests expeditiously provide information to guests as needed.
  • Be the face of the hotel on arrival and offer a fond farewell on departure.
  • Provide excellent guest services assisting guests with their needs or resolving issues.
  • Be knowledgeable in all hotel emergency procedures.
  • Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

You have:

  • Excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • A flexible schedule and must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
  • A detail-oriented nature and are able to work alone.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience with Maestro, ProfitSage, Zingle, and Outlook preferred.

Special Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/walk during the entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
