We are looking for a flexible Guest Service Associate with an outstanding passion for creating the most memorable of experiences for our guests and to become a part of The Mansley Team. This role is key, as we aim to provide a Great Guest Experience and achieve 100% guest satisfaction. We are looking for someone that is efficient and passionate in achieving outstanding quality standards. There is a distinct ‘family feel’ and you will play an integral part to the overall day to day operations of the business.
This role is a zero-hour contract, it requires working shifts at short notice, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, without a fixed schedule. You will not be required to work more than 48 hours each week.
The GSA we are looking for will have a genuine passion for an exceptional guest experience and take pride in the properties they work in, within Edinburgh. Our Guest Service Associates are an essential point of contact for all our guests, both pre-stay and by delivering a warm welcome and ensuring guests receive quick, efficient and professional service throughout their stay.
You must speak fluent English, although other languages are advantageous and hold a full clean driving licence.
Previous hospitality reception experience is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and register guests and perform full check-in procedure
  • Take guests credit card details for extras, adherence to GDPR guidelines
  • Check accommodation has already been paid for, for advance payments, check rates/revenue
  • Handle complaints
  • Issue apartment key and show guests to their apartment
  • Review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process
  • Issue invoices for charges
  • Receive and communicate messages using telephone, voicemail and email to guests and supervisors
  • Make bookings for sightseeing, restaurants and transportation
  • Set up rooms for arrivals when required
  • Follow all SOP guidelines
  • Other duties may be required as the business dictates
