The Local Host (LH) are the first point of contact in the business as they are first to welcome our valued guests through the doors of all our hotels across the group. They play a major role in meeting the needs and requests of our guests and ensuring operations run smoothly throughout their stay with us.
Guest services is a top tier priority for our Local Hosts as they drive the business through the deliverance of exceptional guest services to guarantee guest satisfaction is within reach. While their role is not limited to just the front desk, they are a key leader in sales through capturing data and maintaining guest relations to support our Sales, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage team.
The Local Host works independently and collaboratively to create memorable experiences for our valued guest. They achieve the best possible outcomes for our guest and our business as they work in accordance with Veriu Group Values, to promote and sustain the culture and contribute to the vision.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Completion of all day-to-day front of house tasks & preparation
  • Achieves hotel sales through data capture, conversion and communication.
  • Proactive in completion of all internal, external correspondence via emails, phone calls and face to face resulting in guest satisfaction.
  • Competent in deliverance of expertise local area knowledge.
  • Achieves and exceeds guest requirements through successful collaboration with sales, housekeeping and maintenance.
