Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a positive, motivated and professional Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic Front Office team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K’gari (Fraser Island). The Guest Service Agent is primarily responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experience.
This is a permanent part-time position, and our ideal candidate will have resort/hotel front desk experience. This is a live on island role where you work and live at Kingfisher Bay Resort.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet all incoming and outgoing guests to the resort – guest check in and check out process.
  • Accurately allocate rooms.
  • Welcome all guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Directing all guests to the appropriate check in area.
  • Coordinate, where required bus arrivals and guest arrivals.
  • Manage phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Direct guests to rooms on arrivals.
  • Be familiar with room rates and reservation information.
  • Always provide accurate and information to guests.
  • Maintain guest accounts, billing arrangements and payments on check out.
  • Follow in house policies and procedures to maintain guest security.
  • Take guest messages and ensure prompt delivery to room.
  • Assist guests with all general enquiries.
