POSITION TITTLE: Guest Service Agent
STATUS: 1 x Full Time, 1 x Part Time
HOURS: Shifts will vary depending on operational requirements to include day and night shifts, weekends and holidays.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Register guests onto the computer, verify reservation, address and credit information
- Use Lightspeed and StarGuest
- Promote the Marriott loyalty program and provide recognition and benefits to all present members
- Check guests in and out
- Accept payment for guest’ accounts both at the time of registration and at check-out.
- Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily.
- Provide accurate currency exchange for guests.
- Answer telephones and guest inquiries
- Make travel arrangements
- Stock packing of Pantry
- Issue key and control entrance of safety deposit boxes
- Assist with luggage
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION:
- High School or equivalent required
- One or two years in a customer service position
- Good communication skills required
- Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
- Proven ability to Multi-task
- Excellent Organizational Skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge of hotel property Management system
- Multi-lingual, an asset
