JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic team member, to act as a Guest Service Assistant for the Night team. As a Guest Service Assistant, you’ll deliver a friendly and efficient service; to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and ensure they have a great experience. You’ll be attentive to our guests needs from the moment they arrive, make recommendations and serve accurately and efficiently. You will be totally guest focused, ensuring we are creating memorable stays for all our guests, consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.

Responsibilities

As a Guest Service Assistant (Nights) your key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognising IHG Rewards Club Members and returning guests.
  • Answering, recording and processing all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns, record guest preferences in the system.
  • Communicating any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
  • Booking guest reservations for individuals that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
  • Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including serving on bar, cleaning, action special guest requests
