Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to join our Food & Beverage team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be the face of our dining operations, delivering exceptional hospitality and service excellence to every guest who walks through our doors. Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables with genuine hospitality and a friendly demeanor Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including setting tables according to established standards and procedures Inspect table settings, cleanliness, and side station preparation prior to service to ensure operational readiness Deliver Food & Beverage services in accordance with departmental standards, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational excellence Pick up and serve food and beverage orders promptly, ensuring items arrive at the correct temperature and in perfect condition Apply necessary precautions regarding hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) to maintain the highest health and safety protocols Remember individual guest names and preferences to provide personalized, empathetic service that exceeds expectations Identify and promote Food & Beverage offers and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue while enhancing the guest experience Cross-sell other dining venues when the outlet reaches capacity, demonstrating flexibility and collaborative spirit Clear and tidy tables efficiently following guest departure, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment Collect and verify Food & Beverage supply requisitions, ensuring accuracy and proper stock management Report any complaints, incidents, or irregularities to management promptly and professionally Assist other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or as needed, showcasing team collaboration and adaptability Maintain composure and resilience in fast-paced environments while delivering consistent, high-quality service Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred) Food & Beverage service certification or training (advantageous) Proficiency in English with strong reading, writing, and oral communication skills Ability to speak additional languages; basic understanding of local languages is advantageous Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Physical stamina and capability to stand for extended periods during service Problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including peak service times No prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates with a passion for hospitality Willingness to learn and commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences Job-Category: Food & Beverage Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
