DESCRIPTION
Guest Service Associates (GSA) are responsible for the management of the Ronald McDonald House during scheduled shifts to include weekend, evenings and holidays. The House operates a reception desk 24/7/365. Shifts range from 6 hours-8 hours, with an opportunity for additional hours as needed.
Guest Service Associate job responsibilities include:
· Acting as the on-site point person for all House guests staying and arriving at the Ronald McDonald House
· Availability to work weekends, evenings and holiday coverage
· Responsible to respond to any problems or emergencies during shift
· Any reasonable duty needed to be performed for a House guest
· Answer phones/doors and aid all callers/visitors
· Provide check-in registration and check-out to House guests
· Follow, support and enforce, where and when necessary, all RMHC CTMA rules
· Support and maintain the overall guest experience of the House (re-stocking the kitchen/pantry, refilling soda machine, emptying trash, wiping down surfaces and light cleaning of communal spaces)
· Support and maintain all required daily paperwork, communication logs and guest forms to include the daily census report
· Act as the welcoming committee and point person for all donations being dropped off or delivered to the house
· Provide House tours when scheduled
· Attend staff meetings
· Contribute to maintenance repair tickets for identified House issues
· Shovel and salt outside walkways for safety during inclement weather while working
· Coordinate with other GSAs to cover a scheduled shift when a change is needed
· Other duties assigned by Program Director
At NO time can a Guest Service Associate leave the premises.

o Bilingual preferred.
o Strong commitment to RMHC mission and values.
o Represent RMHC in a professional/appropriate manner at all times.
