Experience:
Ø Promote a positive image of the property to guests and be friendly and courteous at all times when interacting with guests and employees.
Ø Maintain knowledge of all aspects of the resort including rooms, rates, packages, accessibility features, events, and promotions.
Ø Communicate with other resort departments to provide guests with information, and address guest requests promptly and efficiently.
Ø Organize all aspects of a guest’s experience with the resort including making reservations, blocking rooms, checking in and out, processing cancellations, dealing with payment issues, responding to requests, and handling complaints
Ø Act as the main hub of communication for the resort including receiving and transferring calls, responding to emails, and being present at the desk for arriving guests.
Ø Possess proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and of credit and cash handling practices, as well as possessing the ability to adapt to new and advanced computer systems.
Ø Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment adhering to the legislation set out by Occupational Health and Safety, including reporting accidents or injuries and completing incident reports
