JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering outstanding customer experiences. REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or guest services role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse guests.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
  • A friendly demeanour and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with essential information about the hotel and its amenities.
  • To assist in all areas of front and back of house including cooking and bar services for a 24 hour menu.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette at all times.
  • Assist guests with reservations, modifications, and cancellations as needed.
  • Maintain an organised front desk area, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Address any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution.
  • Provide local area information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
