Job DetailsJob Location: Jamestown, NC 27282Position Type: Full TimeJob Purpose The Guest Services Department supports the client experience and the success of our Design Consultants by ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome, appointments run smoothly, and the Design Center remains organized and aligned with brand standards. Serving as a bridge between clients, consultants, and available resources, the team streamlines the shopping experience. By preparing materials, maintaining organized spaces, and delivering exceptional service, Guest Services enhances both consultant effectiveness and overall customer satisfaction. Essential Functions and Responsibilities 1. Client Presentation & Appointment Support Prepare professional presentations for clients, including compiling and formatting furniture selections for review. Scale clients’ floor plans to 1/4-inch scale to support design appointments. Print, organize, and assemble materials for Design Consultants prior to client meetings. Correspond and work closely with Design Consultants to ensure they have everything needed for a successful client appointment. 2. Design Center & Gallery Maintenance Organize and maintain all Design Center materials, including fabrics, finishes, trims, samples, and reference tools. Maintain the appearance and organization of samples both in the Design Center and in the showroom galleries. Restock information desks and ensure all handouts and resources are available for Design Consultants. 3. Reception & Guest Experience Cover the reception desk during the Head Receptionist’s days off, breaks, or lunch periods. Manage the daily guest list and ensure a smooth, professional check-in process. Maintain a steady rotation of Design Consultants to meet with clients in a timely manner. Greet clients as the first point of contact, offering a warm and welcoming experience. Answer incoming phone calls and client questions with professionalism and accuracy. Assist with general showroom guest needs to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. Working Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. QualificationsCompetencies, Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to scale floor plans and work with design-related tools or software (training provided if necessary). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Professional, friendly, and polished demeanor when interacting with customers. Comfortable working collaboratively with Design Consultants as well as team members. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software, printing, and presentation preparation.
