THE OPPORTUNITY

Delaware North Australia is hiring a Guest Services Attendant to join our team at Lizard Island Resort. Located on the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef, just over an hour’s flight northeast of Cairns, experience a tropical island with crystal clear waters, idyllic dive locations and powdery white beaches. As a talented and passionate hospitality professional, you will assist us in delivering a premium customer experience in this amazing environment, engaging our guests from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out
  • Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain current knowledge of daily VIPs, hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers
  • Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service. Ensure that the guest is the first priority at all times - be proactive with their needs
  • Liaise with various resort departments to ensure our guests experience the most memorable of experiences and the very highest levels of service
  • Coordinate guest arrivals and departures
