Parking is what we do, our values are who we are. Overview This is a high-profile, front-facing customer service role serving patients and visitors at various hospitals within our community. The Guest Services Ambassador provides a welcoming first impression for a facility while simultaneously upholding visitor guidelines and visitor management protocols. Guest Services Ambassadors demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, listening skills, empathy, and ability to effectively interact with patients, visitors, staff and others. They will serve as a resource for information and work to enhance the experience for patients, visitors, and staff. Shift Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Responsibilities Provide exemplary customer service for patients, families and visitors by modeling service standard behaviors. Create a welcoming environment as the first contact for patients and visitors. Assist or provide information, resources and directions to patients, guests, and staff. Ensure visitor guidelines and visitor management protocols are consistently supported for all. Utilize critical thinking and de-escalation skills to troubleshoot situations, offer appropriate resolutions, and demonstrate appropriate empathy in unique circumstances. Provide escort and wayfinding assistance for patients and visitors. Navigate the hospital and its systems to meet the needs of patients and visitors while maintaining confidentiality and privacy. Assist with patient drop offs and pick up; including belongings, paperwork, escort assistance. Assist with maintaining cleanliness of our entrance points and work areas. Maintain general knowledge of our hospital and clinic operations, services, and schedules. Assist with the training or coaching of volunteers and transitional work employees. Collaborate with other departments to provide consistent and compassionate guidance for patients, families and visitors. Perform other related duties as required.
