Description Guest Service Manager Revere Golf Club Position Summary The Guest Service Manager is responsible for leading the Outside Services team and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the service standards of Revere Golf Club. This position oversees daily outside operations, including cart staging, cart cleanliness, range operations, first impression areas, guest arrival experience, and team accountability. This role is highly visible and directly impacts the guest experience from the moment a player arrives until the moment they leave. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, service-minded, and capable of building a strong team culture while holding team members accountable to high standards. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience Create a welcoming, professional, and polished arrival experience for all members, residents, resort guests, tournament groups, and daily fee players. Ensure guests are greeted promptly and assisted with bags, carts, directions, and general course information. Maintain a luxury-level service standard through consistent attention to detail. Proactively identify guest needs before being asked. Handle guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and a solution-oriented mindset. Outside Services Leadership Lead, coach, train, and support the Outside Services team. Set clear daily expectations for cart staging, cleanliness, range setup, guest engagement, and closing duties. Conduct regular check-ins with team members to reinforce standards and provide feedback. Help build a positive team culture centered on service, accountability, professionalism, and pride in the facility. Hold team members accountable when standards are not met. Cart Fleet and Staging Ensure carts are clean, charged, staged, stocked, and presented at a high standard. Monitor cart rotation, charging practices, damage reporting, and daily fleet readiness. Maintain cleanliness of cart staging areas, cart barn, bag drop, and guest-facing areas. Report maintenance or mechanical cart issues promptly to the appropriate department. Range Operations Oversee daily range setup, ball inventory, picker schedule, range cleanliness, and presentation. Ensure range balls, baskets, water stations, signage, and practice areas are maintained throughout the day. Coordinate with the golf shop and golf operations team on range closures, tournament setup, clinic needs, and special events. Scheduling and Communication Create and manage the Outside Services schedule based on business levels, events, tee sheet volume, and operational needs. Hold regular bi-weekly meetings with the Head Golf Professional or golf operations leadership. Communicate staffing needs, performance concerns, equipment issues, and service opportunities clearly and consistently. Assist with training updates, SOP reinforcement, and ongoing service development. Cleanliness and Facility Standards Maintain high standards for the bag drop, cart staging, range, cart barn, practice areas, and guest touchpoints. Ensure trash, towels, broken tees, range baskets, and clutter are addressed throughout the day. Support a clean, organized, and professional facility appearance at all times. Requirements Qualifications Prior golf course, hospitality, resort, or guest service experience preferred. Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work mornings, weekends, holidays, and high-volume event days. Valid driver’s license preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal Guest Service Manager is a hands-on leader who takes ownership of the guest experience. This person understands that small details matter, whether that means a perfectly staged cart, a clean windshield, a warm greeting, or a fully prepared range. They should be comfortable leading by example, creating structure for the team, and maintaining a high standard even during busy periods. Other Requirements Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, pull, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift golf bags, range baskets, coolers, and operational supplies. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and operations preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
