OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Guest Services Representative to join our team. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. This is a vital role in our organization as you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Also, you will be responsible for check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; and process all payments according to established procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One-year front desk/guest service experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent desktop computer/software knowledge
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $17.20 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greets guests warmly, efficiently, and professionally upon arrival
  • Registers guests, issues room keys, offers details on hotel amenities and room location, and prepares for group and VIP arrivals, staying informed about hotel events during the shift. Ensures prompt and courteous handling of phone calls.
  • Handles cash and credit card transactions accurately according to established protocols, including posting charges, completing cashier reports, preparing deposits, and managing assigned banks securely.
  • Report any outstanding guest requests or concerns to management for further attention.
  • Responsively addresses guest needs, promotes hotel services and facilities and offers information on local attractions and directions to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Processes guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations, whether received via phone or within the hotel premises.
  • Fosters teamwork and maintains quality service through regular communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Executes additional tasks as required, including conducting guest room tours, providing concierge services, and fulfilling special guest requests.
  • Adheres to all Company and Brand Standards while carrying out assigned duties.
