Description Classification: Part-Time, 16 hrs/wk, Non-Exempt Ministry Area: Executive-Office Management Location: Chanhassen Hours: Preferred Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30am to 4:00pm Reports to: Executive Assistant Westwood’s Way of Life: Be and love like Jesus Westwood’s Purpose and Mission: To know God and share Jesus through loving others here, near, and far Role: To greet and assist guests both on the phone and in person, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities: · Greet all visitors to the church, providing a positive first impression, and efficiently connect them with the appropriate ministry staff member or volunteer · Manage main desk phone calls, answering questions and directing calls as needed. · Route in-person and phone Pastor-On-Call requests with professionalism and confidentiality · Daily prepare coffee to be available in the commons area for guests · Maintain the safety/security in the Commons, paying particular attention to those with suspicious appearance or behavior and follow proper security guidelines · Manage USPS and package deliveries and pickups · Manage Lost & Found items · Assist with projects to support Westwood staff as available · Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor · Align to and live out the Westwood Staff Values: o Head High o Heart Soft o Arms Linked o Feet Forward Requirements · Someone who lives a life that honors God in heart, actions, and relationships, with the goal of becoming more like Jesus · One to two years general office experience (preferred) · Proficient with Microsoft Office tools · Good verbal communication skills, on the phone and in person · Ability to handle confidential information professionally · Ability to relate to other Westwood staff and church attenders at large · Endorse and support Westwood’s Statement of Faith · Remain a member in good standing of Westwood Community Church
