OFFICE OF STUDENT AFFAIRS COUNSELLING AND DEVELOPMENT SECTION Guidance Services Manager (25260523) The appointee is expected to lead a small team and provide support for projects and programmes related to mental wellness. Responsibilities: Supervise the overall planning and budgeting of the initiatives related to mental wellness programmes; Organise and conduct training to educate and promote mental wellness of students; Provide individual coaching and mentoring to students; and Conduct surveys including work plan formulation, statistical analysis and report writing. Requirements: A good honours degree and preferably a postgraduate qualification in psychology, counselling, social work, education or mental health related subjects, with at least seven years of relevant work experience in tertiary institutions or public organisations; An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); Good analytical ability and decision-making, strong leadership and interpersonal skills; and Detail-minded and able to work independently. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
