Nos guide touristiques représentent le coeur de l’expérience client! Passez votre été à travailler à l’extérieur et à bord de nos magnifiques bateaux voyageant sur le Canal Rideau et la Rivière des Outaouais. Souhaitez la bienvenue aux visiteurs du monde entier tout en livrant un tour guidé informatif et mémorable mettant en vedette les points de repères historiques, les lieux d’intérèts et le magnifique paysage.
En tant que guide, vous aurez l’occasion d’accueillir les clients à bord, interagir et animer ceux-ci tout au long du voyage, et leurs souhaiter un bon restant séjour et d’aventures à la sortie.
Aider à maintenir la propreté du bateau afin d’assurer un environnement agréable pour tous les clients.
À l’aide d’un discours de base, chaque guide personnalise son tour, contribue au contenu et en fait de chaque voyage une expérience taillée. Vous apprendrez aussi le bon fonctionnement des opérations des bateaux tout en travaillant avec les capitaines et officiers de pont afin d’approfondir vos connaissances maritimes!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our tour guides represent the heart of the guest experience! Spend your summer working outside and onboard our wonderful vessels sailing on the Rideau Canal and Ottawa River. Welcome guests from around the world as you deliver an informative and memorable guided tour while pointing out historical landmarks, points of interest and beautiful scenery.
As a tour guide, you will greet the guests as they board, interact and entertain them all along the cruise, and wish them fond farewell and safe travels as they exit.
Help maintain the cleanliness of the boat to ensure a pleasant environment for all customers.
Starting with a standard script, each tour guide customizes their tour, contributes to the content and adds their own flavour to each experience. In addition, you’ll get to learn all the ropes on the general fonctions of the vessels and work with the captains and chief mates to expand your knowledge of seafaring!

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• tour guide: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• french and english (required)
