JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire Developer to join our remote development team supporting key initiatives in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in one or more Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter) and possess strong hands-on experience with GOSU, Guidewire Studio, and integrations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience working with Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
  • Hands-on experience with GOSU programming language.
  • Proficiency in Guidewire Studio and configuration/integration development.
  • Strong knowledge of XML, SOAP/REST web services, and API integrations.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Guidewire certification (Developer or Specialist level) is a plus.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience working in the P&C Insurance domain.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and implement custom features and enhancements in Guidewire applications.
  • Work on configuration and integration tasks involving Guidewire modules.
  • Develop web services, batch processes, plug-ins, and rules using GOSU.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams to deliver quality solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and coding standards.
