JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking to add passionate and dedicated instructors (elementary, junior high and high school) to our educational team.
The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, fostering their academic and social growth.
This role requires effective communication skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements and working persons with disabilities.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with children, teaching and/or mentoring.
  • Experience using Google suite is preferred but not required.
  • The ability to understand curriculum outlines and expectations.

EDUCATION:

  • Certified Teachers (BEd) and/or
  • Completed BA, BSc, BKin, BPEd, BComm, BBA - other accreditations considered
  • BEd Students & University Students with teaching experience

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in subjects such as Math, English, and Special Education.
  • Create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
  • Utilize technology and digital resources to enhance teaching methods and classroom management.
  • Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance in various subjects.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, including those of students with disabilities.
