JOB OVERVIEW

YOU set your schedule and availability – Lessons go from 2:00PM to 8:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 2:00PM to 6:00PM Friday, and 10:00AM to 5:00PM Saturday
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a genuine love for teaching music to people of all ages and backgrounds. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students to explore their musical talents and creativity. The Instructor will work with students of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on individual instruction.
recent (6 months) child abuse registry and criminal record checks will be required upon hiring

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience playing guitar is essential.
  • Performance experience is a must.
  • Proven experience in teaching is highly desirable.
  • Degree in Music or Education is required, but we will consider those working towards certification, or relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with tutoring techniques to support diverse learning needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset. Including working with children, adults, seniors, and those with disabilities.
