OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar Teacher to join our team. If you have a love for music and enjoy working with students of all ages, this position is perfect for you.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum RCM Grade 8 level playing and theory
• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching piano lessons is preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
• Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in playing the guitar at an advanced level

  Contract length: 10 months
  Pay: $30.00 per hour

• DCS / DEC (preferred)

• Educate students on piano playing techniques and music theory in a FUN way
• Create engaging and customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level, wants and goals
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their piano skills
• Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and performances
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment in the classroom
