JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team of peripatetic freelance music teachers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspiring youngsters, aged between six and eighteen years with a variety of abilities. Teaching takes place in a number of local schools throughout the school term. Teachers will work in conjunction with the Rock School and MTB Exam Board, whilst maintaining motivation through popular repertoire.
We currently have two days of tuition available with the potential to build. The tuition in delivered primarily on a one-to-one basis, although some schools preferred paired lessons. Lesson are taught throughout the school day.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A recognised music qualification is essential
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum relevant to the teaching level.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in using technology to support teaching and learning is advantageous.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
• A clean UK driving license.
  The position is on a freelance basis.

  Pay: £100.00-£150.00 per day
